Kaludah Monopoly was the foundation sire that set us on our path in the stud world. We have added the best bulls we could buy each year to continually improve our genetics and supplemented natural sires with an AI program. As the demand for Poll Herefords increased, we sought to balance our horned bulls with good polls. Now the majority of our offering are polls or poll descent. Bulls who have been influential past sires include Mawarra Virginian, Yarram Unique (Jeremy), Morganvale Larkin and Centennial Gamble.

This bull has fantastic growth figures; he’s muscly and he’s got really good hind quarters. We bought him in 2023 and, at $16,500, considered him to be a real steal at the Valma sale. He will put weight into his progeny.

Purchased in 2023 for $30,000, Savage is a good bull all around – not too high in the birth weight, so he’ll be good to join the heifers. He is a really good bull, and since he has been home, he has been getting better and better.

Hoffman was purchased for $91,000 in 2022 and the vendors liked him so much that they bought a share back for their spring joining. A homozygous poll.

An exceptional Yarram Park sire bought in partnership in 2022 for $50,000. A son of Yarram Lottery, we call him Raffle.

In the winter of 2021, we bought this well-balanced horned sire from Amos Vale for $15,000. He is a nice, long bull and was purchased as an outcross sire.

Nebraska was purchased by Newcomen Herefords stud manager Mat Marshall in 2019 for his own herd and he went on to breed well there. He grew into a fantastic sire so we bought him back when the opportunity arose. A fantastic bull by Yarram Unique J164 out of a very good cow who has consistently bred top quality calves for us.

One of two polled bulls purchased in 2021, Allendale Jet was a complete steal at $14,000. A long bull with good EBVs, he's grown into an excellent sire and is breeding very well. He is from a top cow, who bred the sale topper at Allendale's 2023 sale, which was sold to Yarram Park.

Mojo is an outstanding horned sire we purchased for $30,000 in 2021. We felt he was the pick of the Yarram Park offering that year. He is a big, free and upstanding bull.

Quamby Plains Quandary, purchased for $19,000 in 2021, has grown into an excellent sire. He has great phenotype and fantastic figures.

We bought Kerlson Nardoo in 2020 for $19,000. He is a well-balanced bull with great structure and has very good figures to match. He has an excellent nature; quiet and easy to handle, and has been breeding consistently.

Warringa Quincey was purchased in 2020 and has been a great bull to use over our heifers. He has well-balanced EBVs and is particularly good for IMF.

McLaren was bought to join to heifers and he's proven to have a positive influence on their calving ease. A nice, quiet bull, he has well-balanced EBVs and is especially good for IMF.

In February, 2020 we purchased this top horned sire, suitable for heifer joining, from Yarram Park for $33,000. Alas, an injury meant we could only use him by AI.

Purchased in 2019, Battalion Bomber is a horned bull who has performed consistently over the years. He is a well-pigmented and marked bull from a top cow in the Battalion herd. Semen from Bomber has been sold into New Zealand and his progeny in our 2024 sale are among our best.

A beautiful easy doing sire with great figures to match. He is a nicely fleshed, soft-coated bull who is breeding a good line of cattle.

Gamble has had a big influence on our herd. He was bought for the sale top price of $15,000 and, in turn, his sons have topped our own sale. We've also retained some excellent females by this outstanding sire. We were still using Gamble at the ripe old age of 9 years old.
